Student Organizations

Our college has student chapters of some of the most widely recognized engineering and computer science professional societies. Becoming an active member of a student organization will enhance your experience at UWM in many ways including . . .

  • meeting new people and building a network of support,
  • developing your leadership and communication skills,
  • connecting with professionals in industry,
  • becoming more actively involved in the college, the campus, and the community,
  • strengthening your job resume and defining your career goals.

Members of the student organizations have the opportunity to collaborate on projects for international and national competitions. Visit Student Projects to learn about some of our students' most recent endeavors.

For more information on getting involved in a student organization contact Jennie Klumpp in the student services office, EMS E386, klumpp@uwm.edu, 229-5193. Or, feel free to contact the current president of the organization you are interested in.
