Course Work Pick Up
The following describes the Department of Curriculum and Instruction's policy regarding student pick-up of previous semester "CURRINS" course work (including portfolios). PLEASE NOTE: Due to a shortage of storage space, the department will only keep prior semester student course work for one subsequent semester, after which it is disposed of. No exceptions. Prior semester student course work is kept by the department in a secured storage room (END 380).
- Fall Semester course work: is kept through the last official date of the subsequent Spring Semester.
- Spring Semester course work: is kept through the last official date of the subsequent Fall Semester.
- Summer Sessions course work: is kept through the last official date of the subsequent Fall Semester.
- You may request to pick-up your own course work during our normal office hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., except between the hours of 11:30 A.M. and 12:30 P.M. when our main office (END 310) reception counter staff are at lunch.
- Note: Our main office closes at 4:30pm. Therefore, please arrive no later than 4:20pm if you are planning to pick up your course work. This will allow office staff time to locate your work in our secure storage room before closing time.
- You must provide a valid picture ID. No exceptions.
- Course work is stored according to: course number, course section number, and instructor name (e.g., "CURRINS 470 Sec 001, Instructor Name"). Therefore, please come prepared with your specific course information when picking up course work.
- You may not pick up another student's course work without our receiving prior authorization from that student for you to do so. If you are going to pick up course work for another student, then that student must personally provide authorization for you to do so to: Sharon Granke (sag2@uwm.edu, 414-229-4814, END 310). No exceptions.
- Only course work for "CURRINS" courses are stored. For all other (non-CURRINS) course work, please contact the department that offered/scheduled that class.
Contact our office if you have any questions regarding the above policy.
