UWM Panthers
UWM fields eight women's teams and seven men's teams that compete at the NCAA Division I level. Since 2000, Panthers have captured almost 50 regular-season and tournament titles. In 2005, the men's basketball team reached the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. The next year, both the men's and women's teams reached the Big Dance.

Men's basketball home games are played at the U.S. Cellular Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. Other teams play at the Klotsche Center, 3409 N. Downer Ave., and Engelmann Field, 2033 E. Hartford Ave.
